2. Hosting und Server-Logs
Alle Teile von GoPortaly — Website, Portal, Schnittstelle und Datenbank (Azure Database for PostgreSQL) — werden bei Microsoft Azure betrieben (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Irland), Region „West Europe“ (Niederlande, EU). Mit Microsoft besteht ein Vertrag zur Auftragsverarbeitung nach Art. 28 DSGVO.
Beim Aufruf jeder Seite verarbeitet der Server technisch notwendige Daten: IP-Adresse, Datum und Uhrzeit, aufgerufene Adresse, Statuscode, Browser und Betriebssystem (User-Agent). Fehler und Anfragen der Schnittstelle werden zur Fehlersuche in Azure Application Insights / Log Analytics (ebenfalls West Europe) protokolliert. Zweck ist der sichere und stabile Betrieb. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Diese Logs werden spätestens nach 30 Tagen gelöscht.
Stand: 23. Oktober 2026.

1. Controller
Ardalan EbrahimiPragpath Studioc/o Impressumservice Dein-ImpressumStettiner Str. 4135410 HungenGermanyEmail: info@pragpath.com
This policy covers goportaly.com, the customer portal portal.goportaly.com, the API at api.goportaly.com and the shops run with GoPortaly at {name}.goportaly.com. GoPortaly is a product of Pragpath Studio.
No data protection officer has been appointed, as none is required by law. Send privacy questions to the address above.
2. Hosting and server logs
Every part of GoPortaly — website, portal, API and database (Azure Database for PostgreSQL) — runs on Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., Dublin, Ireland) in the “West Europe” region (Netherlands, EU), under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Each request processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, status code, browser and operating system (user agent). API requests and errors are logged in Azure Application Insights / Log Analytics (also West Europe) for troubleshooting. The purpose is secure and stable operation; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
3. Your account and workspace
A workspace needs a company name, your name, your email address and a password. The password is stored only as a hash. Signing in issues an access token and a refresh token; refresh tokens are also stored in the database so a session can be ended.
The purpose is providing the service; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract). The data is kept for as long as the workspace exists and deleted when it is closed, unless a statutory retention duty applies.
Changes to records in a workspace are written to an audit log: user id and email, the kind of change, the record with its old and new values, IP address, user agent and time. The purpose is security and traceability; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log is deleted together with the workspace.
4. Data in your workspace and shop orders (processing on your behalf)
What you enter in your workspace — products, customers, suppliers, quotes, sales and purchase orders — is processed only on your behalf to provide the service. The same goes for orders shoppers place in your shop at {name}.goportaly.com: email address, first and last name, phone number, delivery address, order note and the items ordered. With the order number and email address a shopper can look up the status of their order.
For this data the merchant is the controller and Pragpath Studio is the processor under Art. 28 GDPR (see the “Processing on your behalf” section of the terms). Shoppers with questions about their data should contact the merchant named in the shop’s footer. The data is kept until the merchant deletes it or the workspace is closed.
5. Email
If you email us, we process your address and message to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once the matter is settled and no retention duty applies.
GoPortaly itself currently sends no email — no newsletter and no automated notifications. The software contains a switched-off notification feature that would use an email delivery provider; this policy will be updated before it is switched on.
6. First-party usage statistics (server-side)
To learn which features are used, the API records an event in our own database when certain actions succeed (for example “product created”, “order delivered”, “shop order received”): the event name, time, module, workspace id, user id (when signed in), environment and whether it came from sample data. The content of your records — names, addresses, prices, quantities — is not stored. Nothing is passed to analytics or advertising services.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the service). You can object at any time by email. Events are deleted with the workspace, and after 24 months at the latest.
There is no analytics in the browser: no analytics scripts are loaded and no identifiers are stored on your device for statistics.
7. Cookies and browser storage (§ 25 TDDDG)
GoPortaly sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties (no external fonts, videos, maps or trackers). Your browser’s local storage only holds entries that are strictly necessary for the service you asked for (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG):
- access_token and refresh_token (portal) — keep you signed in; removed when you sign out.
- goportaly_language — the language you chose.
- goportaly_shop_cart (shop) — the contents of your cart.
- goportaly_shop_preview (shop, for the life of the tab) — lets a merchant preview a shop that is not yet published.
Because there is no optional storage and no third party, no consent banner is needed and none is shown. You can clear these entries at any time in your browser settings.
8. Recipients and transfers outside the EU
The recipient, as processor, is Microsoft (hosting, see section 2). No transfer outside the EU is intended. Where Microsoft accesses data from a third country in individual cases, this is covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. No payment provider is connected; the beta is free.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21). Consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). An email to info@pragpath.com is enough.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
10. Changes
This policy is updated when the service changes. The version published on this page applies. Last updated: 23 October 2026.
