Cookies and browser storage

The short version

GoPortaly sets no cookies and loads no third-party trackers, advertising pixels, external fonts or embedded media — on this website, in the portal or in the shops built with it.

The portal and the shops keep a few entries in your browser’s storage because they cannot work without them. Under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG these strictly necessary entries need no consent, so there is no cookie banner.

What this website stores

Nothing. goportaly.com writes nothing to your browser.

What the portal stores (portal.goportaly.com)

• access_token — proves you are signed in. Local storage, removed when you sign out.
• refresh_token — renews the session without asking you to sign in again. Local storage, removed when you sign out.
• goportaly_language — the interface language you picked, so it is still there next time.

What a shop stores ({name}.goportaly.com)

• goportaly_shop_cart — the items in your cart, so they survive a reload. Local storage, cleared when the order is sent.
• goportaly_shop_preview — only for a merchant previewing an unpublished shop. Session storage, gone when the tab closes.
• goportaly_language — the language you picked.

None of these is used for advertising, statistics or tracking, and none is shared with anyone.

Usage statistics

GoPortaly’s usage statistics are recorded on the server when certain actions succeed and are stored in GoPortaly’s own database. Nothing is stored on your device for this. The privacy policy lists exactly what is recorded.

Clearing what is stored

Signing out removes the sign-in tokens. Clearing site data for the goportaly.com address concerned in your browser settings removes everything listed above. Blocking local storage entirely will stop the portal from keeping you signed in and the shop from keeping your cart.

If this changes

If optional storage or third-party content is ever added, this page and the privacy policy will be updated first, and such storage will only happen after you have agreed to it in a consent dialog with equal Accept and Decline choices, which you can reopen from the footer at any time.
